Last week when I weighed myself I had gained 7 pounds after the camping trip with my family. I had eaten what I was supposed to but cracked and drank caffeinated diet soda. I was devastated and felt like a failure, so this week has been tough. I also had a wicked headache that felt like a rubber band around my head. Wednesday night I got the flu. I don't know if it was the keto flu or the regular flu but my bones ached, headache, nausea, sleep was my friend. I sweated and moaned and groaned all through Thursday. I was in so much pain. Friday I felt fine, went to work and everything. My stomach still hurt, but otherwise I was good.
Today I weigh myself and I am 12 pounds down. In one week!
This is just weird.
So...
1 week : 12 pounds down
Since June 15: 20.8 pounds down
High weight: 71.8 pounds down.
Next week is weigh in and measure. Probably pictures too.
I'm making progress. I hope I'm able to keep it off. I'm really struggling with wanting to eat carbs and sugar. I love bread, it's a comfort food for me. I may need to find alternatives so that my cravings stay in check. I was planning on breaking my diet for thanksgiving, but if I have to go through the "flu" again, I'm not sure I want to. Do I want the food bad enough?
