Well, I think it's marvelous that you were dedicated enough to get out today and make a serious effort to walk... the pics of your brothers on the big toy were great!
First off let me say that Edema for this long may be the symptom of a more serious health issue, please call your doctor for an evaluation.
You have injured your body though (not sure if it's the Dr. Pepper, PCOS, High Blood Pressure or not sweating as much as you were when you were on your Blood Pressure Meds)... and you officially have a few days off. Well, kind of, I'm going to suggest laying in bed with your feet propped high for awhile. Like higher than your head/chest. You still need to stimulate your legs to increase fluid flow back to the rest of your body, so, swimming 30 minutes in the mornings. Strech you legs every two hours (if your laying down for a long time), flex the toes, rotate your ankles and bend your knees.
It'd probably be a great time to start your PCOS diet, low carb diets are recommended for edema. Let me know if you're interested.
