I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Gosh Darn It... People Like Me!

Affirmations, I know they seem silly! But, think of it this way... When you focus on bad "affirmations" i.e, "I suck" "I'm useless" etc... Your body releases stress hormones and causes you to feel depressed, sad, upset or angry. The anti-affirmation, and we do this without even trying. So, it's only reasonable to assume that if you focus on a few positive affirmations every day that you'll release positive feelings and you will feel much better than you would after a day of Maylyn bashing.

So, no matter how silly you feel I want you to find something positive to say about yourself everyday. Say it out loud, write it down 10 times. You may feel crazy doing so, but, we've already established that we are crazy! Besides that, silly is a way better feeling than depressed!

I found some great ones today. Say them loud, let them echo in your room!

“I release all energy that I am carrying for others.”

“I release my need to carry stress for other people.”

“I release all gravity that belongs to others.”

“I am a creature of lightness and peace.”


Moving through these kind of thoughts will feel awkward at first, but you will get the hang of them after awhile.
