Whole Foods

Reviewing the book that you are getting guidelines from and using the instructions given to you by your Doctor. I think that my suggestion of avoiding the center aisles of the grocery store are even more important for you than you might think. Your doctor knows her stuff and telling you to avoid bad carbs and milk is right on the money.

If you really want "project transformation" to transform you, you have to really take these guidelines to heart and follow through. You know what to do, now do it!

Visualize your Grocery Store like this... Produce, Eggs and Meat. Only see the unprocessed foods, the whole foods. All the crap in the middle, just don't even go there. If it's in a box, most likely, it's gone through some type of of process. Avoid cardboard boxes and plastic bags. Eat foods in their most natural state possible, it's what you need right now to get well. And hey, buying stuff with less packaging is better for the environment. Two birds with one stone.

To start, day 1: Clean the kitchen and make a list. Perhaps buy ingredients for recipes from your book.

Day 2: Buy Groceries

Day 3: Prepare Food Ahead of Time. It won't take that long, especially once you've done this a few times. Keep veggies and fruits in the upper levels of the fridge so you see those first to snack on.

PS... This is for a family of 5! You may have much smaller quantities... or make this last twice a long,
